The village has several friendly pubs, a postoffice, hardware shops, supermarkets, butchers shops, a hairdressers, an off license, a pharmacy an amusement arcade and a boutique. There is also a Tourism and Maritime Heritage Center located in Bath St. ATM's are available in the supermarkets. A new secure motor home park has recently been constructed where visitors will have safe parking and full use of the marina facilities. The village has some of the best restaurants along the County Down coast. Two miles to the north in Chapletown, is Curran's Bar and Seafood Steak house, this restaurant offers a pickup service. The village is also home to the popular Ardglass Golf Club, the worlds oldest clubhouse dating back to 1405AD. The club's restaurant is open to non members. Other restaurants in the village include Aldos, The Waters Edge, The Blue Donkey, and East Essence Chinese, all situated close to the harbour. Ardglass is well connected by public transport. Numerous bus stops are located around the village. Belfast has 2 airports, the International airport is about an hour and a half away and the City airport is about an hour away.
