Phase II of the motorhome parking area development is now complete. Improvements include water, electricity and drainage points available at each stand and facilities for the disposal of chemical toilet and septic tank waste. Access to this new secure area can be gained through the marina office or by calling the telephone number displayed on the gate. Pets welcome. The village has some of the best restaurants along the County Down coast. Two miles to the north in Chapletown, is Curran's Bar and Seafood Steak house, this restaurant offers a pickup service. The village is also home to the popular Ardglass Golf Club, the worlds oldest clubhouse dating back to 1405AD. The club's restaurant is open to non members. Other restaurants in the village include Aldos, The Waters Edge, The Summer Flame Pizza, and East Essence Chinese, all situated close to the harbour. Ardglass is well connected by public transport. Numerous bus stops are located around the village. Belfast has 2 airports, the International airport is about an hour and a half away and the City airport is about an hour away.
