Ardglass Castles. Ardglass has at least six castles. The most noticeable of which is Kings Castle. Built in the 12th century it stands on a hill in the centre of the village. The club house for Ardglass Golf Club is another castle. Dated 1405, it’s the oldest club house in the world!
Bishops Court started out as a WWII airfield but is now one of the best racing circuits in Northern Ireland. Today, the circuit hosts a diverse mix of car, bike and kart races. Bishops Court is just 4 miles north east of the marina.
Tollymore Forest Park is situated at the foot of the Mourne Mountains and boasts of panoramic views of the surrounding mountains and sea at Newcastle. It's open to the public all year. It is 19 miles south west of the marina
Downpatrick Steam Railway. Climb aboard our vintage train, hauled by a steam locomotive or a heritage diesel, for the trip to Inch Abbey and back then visit the museum upstairs in the station building. It houses a fascinating collection of relics telling the story of Irish Railways. 6 miles from the marina.
